I am studying Welsh Second Language this year and would to get some past papers for free to help me with my revision.

I came across Elin Fflur who sings all her songs in Welsh, i've never heard of her til just a few minutes ago. I would like to know of any other artists that are like her, sing in Welsh, Irish, Scottish, even Cornish and HAVE to be modern, not singers where around before i was born lol well.. i am 21, i just want very recent artists =). I know of course of loads Irish, Welsh, Scottish singers but, except for maybe Duffy, they only sing in English.

We are planning to try for our 2nd child next year and my husband and I were just having a general chat about names.

Our daughter is called 'Seren' meaning star so we were looking along the same lines for our 2nd eg sunshine, sky

Unfortunately we are both from south wales but have little grasp of the welsh language so any translations would be great!

You can pronouce it either way, but we emphasise the first syllable in Seren, eg SEH-ren. Thanks for all your suggestions, they are great x

I am Welsh and i was just wondering how many Americans of Welsh decent are there in American.Unhryw un cymraeg yna mas yn America?And are these so called welsh-americans aware of their roots,where wales is,the welsh language and so on?
ps I am a fluent welsh speaker.
