Well cach y bant is definetly shit off/ away as the English fuck off is used. I am a native welsh speaker but i speak Cymraeg Dyfed which but i also have a bit of whenwyseg in me due to the close proximity of that dialect to mine. So Rhondda welsh is whenwyseg dialect so yn bachid means to be hook but the saying means piss of and don't come back basically it doesn't really translate into English

Ill show you some examples of dialect welsh now

My dialect Dyfed

Shwmae shwd i ti 'r hen ffrind shwma pethe yn dy drin di dyddie ma de?

Whenwyseg(the dialect in which cach y bant yn bachid is written)

Siwt wyt ti yr hen ffrind siwt mae pethe yn dy drin di dyddie yma te?

North Walian,

Sut dach chi'r hen ffrind sut mae petha yn dy drin ti dyddia yma lli?

Standard welsh

Sut wyt ti yr hen ffrind sut mae pethau yn dy drin di dyddiau yma felly?

The sentance means how are you my old friend how are thing's treating you these day's then. Random i know
