Can the “Prince of Wales” actually SPEAK Welsh?

   He has given speeches in Welsh. The first of which was during his investiture ceremony at Caernarfon Castle in Wales, July 1, 1969.

   No. The title Prince of Wales (Welsh: Tywysog Cymru) is a title traditionally granted to the Heir Apparent to the reigning monarch of the United Kingdom (and formerly the Kingdom of Great Britain and before that the Kingdom of England).

   Yes, he can speak Welsh. He also attended Aberystwyth University.

   Well he has a knowledge of Welsh more than any other language apart from English yes, But i wouldn’t say he can speak it Fluently by any means .

   Welsh is my first language

   Not only can he speak Welsh, he is the first modern Prince of Wales to make a serious attempt to learn it.

   Charles, Prince of Wales actually CAN speak Welsh.Before he was invested Prince of Wales,he learned the language.
