Did anybody know that they speak Welsh in Wales???

Hardly anybody knows that Wales is not a part of England....and they have their own language. Did anybody else here know that??

Yes. Welsh is a beautiful language, I love listening to it – and I wish I was able to understand it. Scottish Gaelic is lovely too. More people should be encouraged to learn them.

We speak more welsh than the irish speak irish or the scottish speak scots gaelic. Welsh is the strongest and most spoken celtic language today and more are learning it every year. As plans by the welsh assembly(cynulliad cenedlaethol Cymru) Ar t create a fully bilingual wales. By doing this they’re turning wales more welsh day after day and fair play to the, (The only reason welsh isn’t spoken by the majority is because the English governments try to ban it and stamp it out when they were in control of wales(Very democratic cough cough. )
It’s compulsory in every school in Wales (although some teach it poorly. this is being sorted)
