i think it would be best if you started to learn welsh when you move there. i live in wales, but cannot speak much welsh really. i have been learning welsh in school since i was 6, but still i don’t know a lot. I have learned other languages, but a find welsh the hardest, as there are lots of mutations etc… you should still learn it though!! good luck!
There will probably be a local class which you can join. Otherwise, try one of these links. http://www.bbc.co.uk/wales/learnwelsh/
http://www.bbc.co.uk/cymru/addysg/
and watch Welsh programmes with subtitles to absorb pronounciation.
You need to be born in Wales. Seriously, find a welch teacher when you get there…
you do realise most people in wales dont know welsh? And aits only in west wales the signs have welsh on them and underneath its english? But if you want learn the basics
Ask a Welsh person why they are always mumbling ‘twll din pob Sais’ among themselves. It’s the most important phrase in Welsh
Learn how to spit
Sorry, but it is true and yes I do like the Welsh and I do like Wales.
