   I’m a native welsh speaker so i will try but my English isn’t brilliant i will openly admit.

   Letter – The way it’s pronounced

   A – as in FAther
   B – as in Book
   C – as in Kick or Call
   CH – as in Scottish word Loch, or german iCH. Very guttural and spitting like
   D – as in DaDDy
   Dd – as in BroTHer or similar to the english V and Th mixed
   E – as in Egg
   F – as in Van
   Ff – as in Frog.
   G – As in Grape
   Ng – as in stroNG
   H – as in Help
   I -as in EEl, Eve
   J – as in Jam (only occurs in borrowed words)
   L – as in Lime or moLd
   Ll – similar to the spanish g like the CH sound but much softer and not gutural at all
   M – as in leMon
   N – as in NaNNy
   O – as in On
   P – as in Please
   Ph -as in healTH
   R – Similar to the spanish rr Roll your R.
   Rh – like the rolling rr but with a sharp h afterwards.
   S – as in Snake or SauSage
   T – as on TomaTo
   Th – as in wealTH
   U – as in EEl exactly as the welsh I
   W – as the English oo rOOm
   Y – as the English Uh like Duh or huh.

   type in on google ‘bbc learn welsh dictionary’. When you type and English word in to translate to welsh, you can listen to a pronounciation of that word. Good Luck!

   You can also get a weekly email from the Welsh for Adults Centre in Cardiff which gives you a few Welsh phrases, tips on pronunciation and a podcast so that you can hear the phrases. You can sign up completely free on http://www.learnwelsh.co.uk (Sentence of the Week) and you will receive the first one on Friday.
