Parhau i ddysgu'r mamiaith, Carry on Learning the Mother tongue.

I am a Native Welsh speaker and although our language is gaining in numbers as of late its vital that people Learn the language. If you can speak Fluent Welsh by the time you have children speak to them in Welsh, Think of what you would be giving them, They wouldn't have to learn Welsh the hard way like you did it will be natural to them. Wales is becoming more bilingual all the time as you I'm sure have noticed. The ability to speak Welsh will almost guarantee you a governmental, media, public service, retail Job in Wales. If you speak Welsh and apply for one of these job's you will always have the upper hand.

Look,I think ANY langauge can do good for you,and if it wouldn't work out at least you'll know some Welsh, and hey, what's so wrong with that?
I can Personally tell you that I'm learning Yiddish, which is not common at all,but It really helps me with my german learning.
Until you leave school lots of things can happen,so don't worry, just take it easy!

You should continue learning Welsh as a bilingual individual My second language for me is my source of pride in my heritage and my ability to communicate with other people. I say YES to Welsh. I would love to learn Welsh and Gaelic, but there are no schools in my state of Florida

Learn it! A second language is always good and Welsh is becoming extinct. If you continue to learn Welsh you will be keeping your own history and culture alive. :)

Yes, carry on learning. It will be much, much easier now than if you tried to pick it up later, and I think people always regret giving up on a language they ALMOST learned.

If you live in Wales among Welsh-speakers, by all means continue your studies in Welsh. A beautiful language, and one that should not die.

It would be great if you continued learning as this looks good on your CV if you apply for jobs in Wales because it is useful if there are any Welsh speakers.
