You stroll through a town like Swansea and all you see are orange-faced, fat or pregnant slags. They are either following their junkie boyfriends around with faces like pigs. Drinking in broad daylight in front of kids or taking heroine in the middle of the street. The men look like guidos or chavs with no hope in life. I thought Wales was nice, I’m never going back. Their accents sound so horrible, you’d swear you’re talking to seagulls.
When I go to Austria or Germany, the women are so beautiful and polite.
Yes it is, I live here I know.

ie;
That we have sex with sheep!
That we are all good singers!
That we all hate the English!
That we all speak with the same accent even though Wales has two main accents/dialects which are totally different!
That we all work in mines even though the coal mines are in South Wales only!
That we are all called names like Dai, Dafydd o'r Myfanwy!

ok. so i'm an American that lives in California and i love the accents in the UK. The English accent (more Londoner) and Welsh accent just make me melt. I wanna pick up some of their vocabulary (just for the heck of it) and at the same time enjoy a movie. Any suggestions as to some authentic english/british/UK movies that i would enjoy? (not the mainstream american movies) Please list as many as you would like. I appreicate it!
like..once upone a time in the midlands, or 28 days later, or green street hooligans, or nil by mouth, etc.

I was on Xbox live talking with somebody with a really really thick Welsh accent, the most Welsh accent in Wales (Im from the North west of England with an English accent) and an American came on, and we were all talking together for a wile, and he said we both sounded the same and had the same accents?
