It's a competition, I have to design a new logo [old one is a kid crying with broken arm + patched up teddy = very depressing -.-] and come up with a name + slogan

The charity/trust is called The Trust for Sick Children in Wales BUT it's basically a trust that collects money to let parents stay in a building next to the hospital completely free of charge so they don't have to travel if they have a terminally ill child in hospital.

The logo I've done is two parents, mum crouching, dad standing, beckoning a child and the kid is just out of reach, holding out his hand trying to reach back. It's all in silhouettes but the kid is wearing a blue hospital gown and a bandanna [the ones that some kids wear after Chemotherapy, it'll either have a welsh flag on it or just rainbow colours] Also, I'm contemplating putting a sort of roof-shaped "flick" over the parents or something as in a shelter but that might look as though the kid isn't allowed under shelter :L? ....anyway it's not totally finished but that's not overly important (:

What I'm having trouble with at the moment is the name + slogan. Right now the name is The Trust for Sick Children in Wales, and the slogan is "Make this your charity, please" <-with "please" written in a child's handwriting.
I'm completely stuck for ideas :S

I've been thinking about something like "Love heals best" or "Cadw'r Cariad/Keeping the love" as a slogan [Cadw'r cariad is the welsh translation] but you don't want to give the parents too much hope and the second doesn't make much sense... :S so I don't like that, or something like "_name of trust_ -because love has no boundaries" as in the love of the parents won't stop them from being with the kid? But I don't like that either =/
I wouldn't be asking unless I was desperate but I don't feel bad asking because the competition is to re-vamp the trust's image and to modernise it, re-naming it and getting a new slogan is optional, but requested if you get what I mean...
it's in for this Friday anyway so I really really need ideas :S

I decided to call you Journal because Diary is for girls. Dad had Michael Cicero bring over his kids. He knows I've been lonely since Mommy died. I could use a friend. Michael has five kids. Amato is Alden's age. Giuseppe is Lance's age. Alex is my age. Fiona is a year younger than Jeremy. Paulie is a year younger than Colin. I like Alex best. My birthday is October 2nd. His is November 29th. Dad told Michael who told Alex that I'm not happy. So that's why I have you now Journal. I can't wit to see all your pages filled up. It'll be like a book. Alex's real name is Alessandro. He's Italian and Welsh. He gets his dark skin and brown hair from his dad and his blue eyes from his mommy. His mommy and dad are very kind. I've known them for a long time, but I never got to meet his kids until now. They travel a lot, though, so Alex doesn't get to see them that much. I figured Alex could stay the night when his parents are gone.

Today Alex and I went to the big oak tree. If I look out my window then I can see it above all the other trees because it's in front of my window but a few yards away since it's in the forest. It takes a few minutes to get there if we walk. We decided to build a tree house. Dad got some of his employees to build the tree house. It's great. There aren't any walls. It goes in a circle around the tree. It has a railing. It has a foldable roof. We can go out there in the rain.
If anyone's curious Alex and Garrett end up falling in love =) But it ends tragically for them! Or does it?

I had this really weird dream. Before the dream I missed a chance to go an see Florence + The Machine locally because I hesitated when buying the tickets. Basically I dreamt randomly afterwards that Florence Welch was there and she was talking to me. All I remember is that her eyes were hypnotising me along with a voice. I don't actually remember what she said to me. The only thing I remember her saying to me was at the end when she told me to give my Dad her number? WTF? Please, does anybody have any idea what this dream is about? It's completely random, I know...

Hi, I'm a yank, and an ignorant one at that. In my travels abroad, I've met plenty of Irish, Scots, and more than enough Englishmen. My dad is descended from Welsh immigrants. I've only heard they're "sheep shaggers" but then the English say that about everyone. And I know Tom Jones was from Wales (I think). So tell me, is Wales a great place? What are some uniquely Welsh characteristics? Do people still speak the native language?

Okay, this is kind of a long story. I'll try to make it readable.
So when I was in fourth grade (about six years ago in 2003), my dad got deployed to Iraq. It was kind of sudden and we weren't expecting it; just a month or so before he got deployed, we had gotten a Wirehair Pointing Griffon that he had intended to train and hunt with. However, because he left and my mother had to handle taking care of four young children, the dog never got trained, and when my dad got back seven months later, he was too busy looking for a new job that he didn't have time to train her, either. So she became kind of an outside dog, either living in a kennel or running around our yard.

We moved from Wisconsin to Michigan when he got back and we lived there about a year when my mom decided to get a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Now, my father absolutely loathes small dogs and when she came home with the puppy without even telling him about it, he literally just walked out of the house. I remember my parents were angry at each other for a few weeks because of the dog, but my mom was adamant about keeping it. My dad eventually grew used to the dog and all was well.

Fast forward three more years--we moved again to Pennsylvania with the Corgi and the griffon. We have less land than we did at our other house, so the griffon really has nowhere to run and spends her days in the outside kennel. My mom hates the dog (and always has) and constantly complains about it barking and whatnot all the time. Last summer, however, she got the idea in her head that we needed another dog and she begged and pleaded my dad to get her a yellow lab. He gave in, and so we got the lab. Lo and behold, a few days after we got the lab, he broke the news that he was getting deployed again in December. The lab has turned out to be more than a handful and quite the nuisance--getting into garbage cans, scratching up doors, chewing up numerous shoes. With my dad being gone it makes it extra difficult to take care of the three dogs along with all the extra chores and such I've had to assume since my dad left.

A few weeks ago my dad, though email, told me that we could go ahead and either sell or give the griffon away, seeing as three dogs was becoming a huge hassle. The griffon isn't even the problem, the lab is! But my mom was more than glad to follow my dad up on that and she's going to the SPCA tomorrow to drop the dog off, which does make me angry since that dog isn't the problem.

Now just today my mom told me that she's looking into buying another Corgi puppy! After all that happened before and what happened with the lab, she still thinks that we need another dog! The worst part is that she's not even going to tell my dad about it until she gets it! It scares me to think about how mad he's going to be when he learns that she got another dog. I keep telling her, "Mom, please, we don't need another one. We can't handle it and Dad is going to be real upset when he finds out about it," but she keeps brushing me off saying, "I'm an adult, I can make these kinds of decisions." I don't understand how she can't see how stupid of an idea and how badly this is going to turn out.

I'm terrified my parents are going to divorce or something because of it. I know that people don't divorce over a puppy but there's so many other stupid things that she does and I just don't know what's going to happen.

What can I do? I just need some advice, anything. Thanks so much for reading all that. I really appreciate it.

my dad is welsh and When i was a kid he taught me a welsh song which i can barely remember. Ill write out some lyrics but im just writing them phoneticaly i dont know how to write in Welsh but the words kinda sound like this

i forget it from here on I think the word ven represents a colour as it changes every verse to a different colour.
