How hard is Welsh to learn?

For a native English speaker who also knows French, German, Latin, and has knowledge of many other languages, how hard is Welsh to learn? Is the grammar regular? Is pronunciation easy and spelling phonetic?

What do you think of the name Llewellyn for a boy?

The meaning of the name Llewellyn is Leader.
The origin of the name Llewellyn is Welsh.
I've heard the pronunciation 'clu-ell-inn' but I think the more used pronunciation is 'loo-ell-inn'.

I'm not planning on using it but I'm curious of what you all think.

Thanks

How do the different Spanish accents sound?

I don't know the official names but in English there are

the different American accents - general, soft southern, hard southern, California, Boston, Brooklyn, Long Island, Chicago, Minnesota
British - all the hundreds they have - cockney, scouse, scottish, welsh, etc.
Irish
Australian

In the Spanish speaking world, is there a country that has the most accents (like the UK for English)?

Is there a more common accent such as the general accent that both US and Canadians mostly have?

What is the most harsh (IMO Scottish for English) and what is the most gentle (soft southern English for me)?

Is one considered more elegant (IMO Received Pronunciation) and one less intelligent (IMO hard southern)?

The only two Spanish accents where I can tell a difference is Spain Spanish because they sound like they are lisping.

Hello I'm giving a speech in Wales at a wedding and would like to say a few sentences in Welsh. However all online resources just have the Welsh spelling without any help in the pronunciation.

Could anyone help with the Welsh translation AND PRONUNCIATION for:

Hello Ladies and gentlemen, thank you so much for coming to the wedding of X and X. Because it's such a joy to see so many of you on such a special day, I wanted to be able to thank you in fluent Welsh.

The actual phrasing can be altered to make it work in Welsh. Any help is so appreciated.

Welsh Name #1 – What do you think?

I'm Welsh. I live in Wales. These names are normal here in Wales. I understand that you may think they are weird but that is just because you may not be from Wales. Please don't just say "I hate it" or "That name is awful". Please explain why you like it and why you don't like it. Thanks.

Name - Aderyn
Gender - Girl
Origin - Welsh
Meaning - Bird
Pronunciation - ad-EHR-in

Thank you.

I'm getting a tattoo with these words in Welsh, but as always many different words come up for each word. What is the most appropriate translation for each word? Also the pronunciation for each word would be very helpful as I don't actually speak Welsh, however much I would like to. Another thing, please only answer if you do speak Welsh, I want the most accurate translation possible due to the nature of it's use. Thank you :)
The words a translator is giving me are - angerdd, annwyd, ddioddefaint, hangerdd, hannwyd, nioddefaint

Learn the Different English Accents?

I find English accents quite fascinating. I'd like to learn which are the main types and the differences in the vocabulary and pronunciation.

There are pretty much TV series spoken in British (and pretty nice ones). I don't know of any, spoken entirely in Scottish/Irish/Welsh/etc accent. Of course, they have their own language, but still, there must be something.

I'd also be very grateful for some classical books on the subject.

Thank you!

I need some software or book that will help me to learn the dialect and pronunciation of the Welsh language.

I also need books/softwares that will help me learn and improve my Latin.

I am debating getting a tattoo of this seeing as it's my heritage, and im not too strong in my pronunciation of welsh. So any help would be appreciated

Pronunciation in Welsh?

I have been learning Welsh recently via the Internet and it is really hard to learn the pronunciation. Are there any places on the Internet that I can learn the pronunciation of Welsh?

I want to use one or the other for a dog name, but I want to make sure I am saying them right.
I couldn't find much on pronunciation online.

I think you say "Ci" and "Key". Is that right?

I have found that the dd in "Blaidd" is like O or something.
Could someone please let me know how to say each correctly. Thanks so much.

(and yes, with the "Blaidd", I am a Doctor Who fan <g>)

And can someone write it's pronunciation for me phonetically please?

Where can I hear Welsh spoken in the USA?

Does anyone know of any films I can get in the US with people speaking Welsh. Or any websites that has sound files (preferably with full sentences spoken). Also, can someone recommend a website or audiobook that teaches pronunciation with soundfiles so I can hear it. Thanks in advance.
