I'm not talking about the Authentic Celts who originally lived in Central Europe (There's no proof of them coming over to Scotland). I'm talking about British Celts.

So, I go to a welsh school, and I get detention if I speak English in school. I was just wondering if it's legal. Wouldn't it go against my rights for freedom of speech? Is there some legislation against/for it? If so, I'd be grateful if someone could show it to me..

There IS a contract they ask us to sign at the beginning of every year saying that we promise to speak welsh, but most people (including me) don't sign it.
