translation needed for a tattoo

I had a piece of jewellery engraved for a very special friend of mine quite a few years ago to say "A special friendship lasts forever" in Welsh, as my father and his family are Welsh and it meant allot to me. Anyway, the item has got lost and when I try to translate it again it looks different and has different words in it. He is now my husband and for out 2nd wedding Ann. I want to get it as a tattoo, but I need to know the correct translation (said from a woman to a man) please help if you can.

I'm getting this as a tattoo and now know how to say it in North/Gogg, but as I'm from South Wales it makes no sense to get it as a North Welsh translation.

I am looking to get a tattoo with some homage to my heritage and since not many people seem to have tattoos in Welsh, it would be unique, but I do want it to be correct. If anyone speaks Welsh fluently, I would looove your help!
