I was recently married and my husband and I have Welsh heritage in common, which we're very proud of and would like our children to have Welsh names. We're actually hoping to adopt a puppy soon and would like that to have a Welsh name as well. Could someone (credible) please recommend a good website and/or book of Welsh baby names that definitely includes easy-to-understand pronunciations? If you know of a book and it's not on Amazon, could you also recommend how we could purchase it? We are in New York State near Canada.

Thank you!

Welsh girl’s names?

Can anyone who knows the Welsh language suggest a nice, not too hard to say (for non-welsh) name for our soon to be born Welsh pony filly? preferably with the meaning... or maybe a website?

Do you like my name?

My name really is Brynn, Pronounced Brin, and I always hated it. It sounded so plain, Its just 1 syllable. Its a welsh name and a Feminine form of Bryn. There are many different ways to spell it. It means "Hill" or "Mound." Its a 20th century name formed from a simple Welsh vocabulary word.
