Wel does dim geiriau i ddisgrifio cymaint mae’r iaith Gymraeg yn ei olygu i mi. Hon yw fy mhriod iaith, Fy mamiaith, Iaith fy nghyndeidiau, Iaith fy mro, Iaith fy ngwlad. I ddweud bod y Gymraeg yn Rhywiol baswn i’n dweud yn bendant. Baswn i’n mwy debygol o fynd am fenyw sydd yn Siarad Cymraeg nag un sydd yn ddi-Gymraeg. Fel gall iaith fod yn "off putting"? Wn i ddim ond sicr nid yw’r Gymraeg felly. Ei hanes, Ei llenyddiaeth a’i thiriogaeth i gyd yn bwysig i mi.

(Well there are no words to describe what the Welsh language means to me, It’s my primary language, my mother tongue. Language of my ancestors, Language of my area, Language of my country, To say Welsh is sexy I would say certainly, I would be more likely to go for a Welsh speaking woman than a non-welsh speaker. How can a language be "off putting" I don’t know but one thing’s for sure Welsh isn’t. Her history, Her literature and her territory all important to me.

If i remember correctly whales communicate via sonar across bodies of water
not easy, but beautiful
i’m from italy, but i’m writing on the arthurian legend based on ancient welsh tales
lol
Difficult because it seems to have extra consonants.
I’m extremely proud that Welsh people have been able to maintain their strong culture and cultural history and that they still endeavour to maintain the status of the Welsh language. It is part of their cultural heritage and deservedly so, and it is so great that they are trying everything they can to keep it alive, in terms of teaching it at school, in terms of poetry and of course in terms of music. I adore the Welsh eisteddfodau festival tradition very much, the Welsh-language poetry which is still blooming and of course all the Welsh music that is still composed these days (not forgetting the wonderful cornucopia of folk songs such as Myfanwy)!
i dont know how it is seen for others, but like cymro…the welsh language means more to me than you could ever imagen. it is everything to me.
And so , of course , to me it is "sexy" , its a romantic loving language – and i cant ever imagen myself wanting to go out with someone who couldnt speak the language because i wouldnt be able to communicate with him in the language that is so special to me.
If i happend to fall in love with some one who didnt speka welsh , i wouldnt refuse to date him just to make a point – i would do what made me happy , but i know in the long run i could never settle down – marry and have children with someone who didnt speak welsh. He would have to learn welsh properly if we were to be together forever , because i couldnt live in a house whree welsh wasnt the main language , or my children speaking english at home to their father would really kill me.
