    Yey ian. I am not very good with English phonetics as i am welsh and i pronunce it naturally the Welsh way but i have fought of equivilent English words and yey and the name Ian combined create the sound

    The welsh name is not pronounced Ewan or Iwan or yewun.

    U is not pronounced like the English w or oo. It’s pronounced as the welsh I or the English E.

    i no 2 but 1 is 16 now and the other one is around 3 so i don’t think its vey popular not as much as the welsh names Kian or Dylan another nice welsh boys name is Reece maybe you could have Ieuan Reece?
