What do you think of the welsh and they’re language?
I'm welsh would like to know other's views!
Welsh isn't an accent!
It's a language and almost 1000 years older than english if not older
Yes welsh is my first language i only really speak English when talking to a non welsh speaking (not common in my area) and on the internet such as here)
Cymraeg yw fy iaith cyntaf a dwi'm yn siarad llawer fawr o Saesneg yn fy nghymuned am fod y Gymraeg mor gryf yma.

I’m a proper (Welsh speaking) Welshman too and I love our language. English hasn’t anything that comes close to ‘cynghanedd’ in Welsh poetry.( I suppose alliteration is the closest).Here is a Welsh ‘englyn’…enjoy!
Adeiladwyd gan dlodi
Nid cerrig ond cariad yw’r meini,
Cyd-ernes yw’r coed arni
Cyd-ddeheu a’i cododd hi.
I only speak English when there are non-Welsh people in our group too. I live in an area where 80%+ are Welsh speaking. It’s great. We have some English people in our village but luckily they are not anti-Welsh like some incomers. Some have the cheek to come here to live then complain that the signs are bilingual, that their kids are taught Welsh at school and that the Welsh language is a necessary qualification for some jobs here.
Amanda has just written a load of garbage…she’s obviously put it through a translator. It makes no sense and has English words eg nobody…left untranslated. Not even a good effort.

XD I have a welsh friend.
He’s a cool guy.
XD I don’ really know what else to say. People are people. So what if we’re different. 
Accents are awesome though.

I’ve met a few welsh people and have really liked them and i used to work in tele sales and whenever i phoned wales they were so lovely as for the language i can’t say is it similar to gaelic? lol

I find Welsh really confusing! I’m Irish and i speak Irish and can understand Scottish cause it’s very similar but Welsh is so different, it sounds beautiful though

I’m from Ireland and I speak Irish Gaelic. I’m learning Welsh. I think the language and people are cool. Been to Wales twice!

Welsh indeed is a lovely language, but difficult for English people to understand the spelling. Once you learn the conventions, I’m told, it becomes easier. You say that you are Welsh, so is Welsh your first language? It can’t be English, or you would know that your word "they’re" should be "their". And of course I’m prepared to love the Welsh people, who are one-quarter of my ancestors.

I hope that Welsh has a much easier set of punctuation rules and less spelling traps than English, which you obviously have trouble with.
1) Welsh is a proper noun and should be capitalised
2) "their" is the third person plural pronoun. "they’re" is a contraction of "they are"
3) If you want multiple people’s views you need to use the plural of "other’s" which is "others’ "
Hope these corrections are of help. I couldn’t even pronounce a single word of Welsh properly…

Although I’m a Finn, I adore the Welsh language and in fact all the Celtic languages, because they not only sound great but that they have survived so well through the overpower of the English language. Obviously some of those minor languages have died down but at least there are still such strong languages left like Welsh! I also adore the strong Welsh culture very much, and the way the Welsh language is still used to maintain the traditions of e.g. music, poetry, litterature and various festivals in general!

I’ve lived in Wales since I was 2, although I am not Welsh. I love Welsh people but I have to be honest, I hated Welsh GCSE and I couldn’t wait to drop the subject.
