I don’t know how in depth you want to learn it, but actually Rosetta Stone has their program in Welsh for some unbeknown reason. You could get that or look around online for some free resources. You can always find some great stuff. Or try to find someone who speaks it fluently and ask them to teach you!
And to Cymro..I just meant that maybe it was an odd choice? Why not Ukrainian, where the number of speakers is signifcantly larger? It just seemed an odd choice to me.

Gillian why unbeknown reason? If they have it in Irish and Icelandic why not welsh who has more speaker’s than both combined?
Believe it or not about 20% of wales are first language welsh speakers and the figure is rising. And nearly 30% can speak welsh fluentyly? 40% of school children below the age of 15 are fluent welsh speakers who can read and write welsh also? Use your figures welsh is a viable language and everyone is at an advantage for learning it. There wouldn’t be an intrest otherwise
And try. the bbc they have great resources for welsh, also type in bwrdd yr iaith gymraeg9Welsh language board) they will guide you if you email them.

I also have been searching for places to learn Welsh, which is not easy, considering that most of my friends did not even realize there was a place called Wales. I have never really found an audio book, only plain books, which make it difficult since the pronunciation is hard to learn without actually hearing it.
The best thing I have found so far is http://www.bbc.co.uk/wales/learnwelsh/bigwelshchallenge/
It for beginners, though. It has helped me with easy conversation as well as with basic vocab. They have recently updated too with more lessons, so it is possible in the future it may even have more lessons. Also, it lets you pick from northern or southern dialects, which I find that pretty nifty.
Good luck.
