I speak in a Welsh accent (since I am Welsh), but a strong Welsh accent is quite vague. In Wales, the accent varies wherever you go, and the “stereotypical Welsh accent” most people have heard is mainly from Cardiff. I’m from Caernarfon (in North West Wales), and our accent is completely different to the rest of Wales (and when I say different, I really mean it!”
If you’re trying to imitate a Cardiff accent, remember to not try too hard – if you try too hard it can sometimes go from a strong Welsh accent to an Indian accent!!
